The last few years, some CMIO’s and informaticists have been hanging out on the street outside the Ivory Room Piano Bar. After the Epic big tent dinner, I will be there too, starting between 830-9 pm for awhile. Will I bring a few copies of my book?
Thanks to John Lee for starting this cool tradition and convincing the owner of the Ivory Room to open during the week during UGM. It’s evolving into a tradition.
I’m not one for extroversion or schmoozing. But I find that the stream of colleagues coming to the piano bar to be a delight.
Many like going inside and belting out tunes. Some of us (like me) enjoy hanging out on the street outside and having a relaxing hang out.
BONUS.
IF THE WEATHER COOPERATES, I will be on the street outside signing copies of my book (giveaway). If the rain is bad (forecasted at 9pm) I may still do it anyway (forecast rain should be brief ) or I may switch to tomorrow morning at 930am at the physician lounge (Soyuz).
Informaticists are good at pivoting and going with the flow right?
Thanks for helping me get copies into the hands of informaticists who my stories might help.
And the book is available on Ingram or Amazon (see link in sidebar).
See you sometime soon!
