DeepSeek's news leads me to think of Shakespeare.

All over the news this past week are the surprise announcements out of China, both positive and negative, regarding DeepSeek. Read the example article above.
It leads me to think of my high-school Shakespeare memorization. MacBeth predicts, from centuries ago, the chaos we experience today.

Hang on everyone. I think investments and advancements in AI are accelerating. Some of it is hardware (Nvidia, others), some of it is software (chain of reasoning, other techniques). News like this that shakes up the leading players will be increasingly common.
There is lots of sound and fury, and there will be more.
What does it signify?
We can only tell that, in hindsight.
